Every little bit helps
We keep the soil happy by using the no-dig method. Each Autumn and Spring, we top dress with compost and a layer of aged wood-chip.
The very first day I put the stand out!
We had a wind storm blow up the valley, and I hadn't secured the stand. Luckily there was just one broken jar. I stood her back up again, this time with supermarket bags full of rocks attached.
